Upcoming High School Youth Event - HAPPENING - Mar. 19-21
Happening is an event designed for young people in grades 9-12. It is a powerful weekend of renewal and its aim is to concentrate closely on the Person and the Teachings of Jesus Christ and His ongoing Living Body-the Church. Through talks, skits, discussions, play, worship, prayer and song, folks can understand the importance of love and life in Christ. There is much laughter, lots of love and its just plain fun! It can get expensive for youth to do "everything," especially trip wise. Please know there is money available if you would like to attend. To register go to www.episdioncyouth.org and look for Happening #54 participant registration.

The Christ Church Youth Leadership Committee (CCYL), which is a group of 12 high school students who help create and design youth activities including outreach, felt a responsibility to provide relational opportunities within our community for the Christ Church youth. All youth (grades 6 - 12) will be given the opportunity to witness hardship and poverty in our downtown community. Students will make bag lunches to deliver to the homeless community around Moore Square during the Sunday school hour once a month. Each youth Sunday School class will have an opportunity to serve twice throughout the school year. This Sunday, Jan. 31, our 9th/10th grade Sunday school class will serve.
