Nursery Program
Nursery and childcare is available from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM on Sundays when the regular worship schedule is in effect (September through May).
The nursery at Christ Church provides a loving, safe, and clean environment for infants (8 weeks) through four-year-olds during the 9:00 service, and for infants through 2nd-graders during the 11:00 service.
Children who attend the nursery during the 9:00 AM service may stay on for Sunday School. Three-year-old children will be taken down the hall to their Sunday School class.
Nursery staff
We have a staff of five paid child care providers who are the primary caregivers for children using the nursery. To supplement the paid staff, we ask that parents who use the nursery volunteer in the nursery on a rotating basis.
Location
The nursery is located on the first floor of the Baker Wing.
Who goes where?
Infant Nursery - For infants 8 weeks and older, until they are walking comfortably. Staffed by one nursery staff person and one parent volunteer.
Toddler Nursery - For toddlers up to 2 years old. Staffed by one nursery staff person and parent volunteers.
Two-year-olds' Classroom - For children who turned two before October 16 of the current school year. Staffed by one nursery staff person and parent volunteers.
Four-year-olds' Classroom - For three- and four-year-olds during the 9:00 service, and for 3-year-olds through 2nd-graders during the 11:00 service. Staffed by nursery staff person and parent volunteers.
