About ECW
Women of Christ Church: You are invited to join an ECW chapter, volunteer in the kitchen, deliver a meal, create crafts for the Greenery Sale, share a plant at Spring Fling's Friendship Garden, help market our cookbook - the opportunities are endless!
What is ECW?
The ECW (Episcopal Church Women) is a service organization active both within the parish and in the larger community.
We sponsor a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year to assist community organizations such as Wake Relief, Building Together, FACES, Newton Grove Migrant Ministry, Interact, FIGS, New Bern Avenue Day Care, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice, Helping Hand Mission, and SAFEchild.
We also support Saint Augustine's College and Saint Mary's School, diocesan missionaries, and parish mission trips.
Membership
Membership in ECW is open to all female parishioners at Christ Church.
Chapters
The ECW is organized into seven chapters which function as small communities of fellowship, study, and Christian service. The chapters meet at different times and days in order to respond to the varying needs of our community.
