| The Reverend Dr. Winston B. Charles Rector |
| The Reverend Winston Charles was born and raised in Bennettsville, South Carolina. After completing his undergraduate education at Sewanee: the University of the South, he received his Masters of Divinity at Virginia Theological Seminary and a PhD in Church History at Union Theological Seminary in New York. He was ordained into the priesthood in 1974 and served as Vicar and Rector at several churches in South Carolina before coming to Christ Church. He has been Rector at Christ Church since 1993. Winston's family includes his wife, Judy and one daughter, Julia. | |
| The Reverend Nancy Allison Senior Associate Rector |
| The Reverend Nancy Allison was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She received her B.A. from Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, Illinois and her Masters of Divinity from The Union Theological Seminary, New York. Reverend Allison completed Anglican Studies at The General Theological Seminary, New York. In addition to her experience as Rector, Assistant Rector, and Deacon at parishes in South Carolina, Reverend Allison is a Member of the Order of St. Helena; Tutor, St. Colm's College, Edinburgh, Scotland. Nancy's particular areas of interest at Christ Church include Adult Education and Formation, Small Groups, Prayer and Spiritual Growth, Bible Study, Theology-Lite Book Club, Outreach, and Saint Saviour's Center. | |
| The Reverend John D. Rohrs Associate Rector |
| The Reverend John Rohrs grew up in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and attended Duke University for his undergraduate education. After several years of working in community development in Durham, he attended Yale and Berkeley Divinity Schools in New Haven, Connecticut and received his Masters of Divinity degree in 2005. That year, John came to Christ Church as an Assistant to the Rector and was ordained to the Priesthood in February of 2006. His wife, Andie, is also an Episcopal priest and serves as the Chaplain at Saint Mary's School in Raleigh. John shares in the general priestly ministry of our church, and also serves as the clergy liaison to the Children's Program, the Youth Program, and the 20s/30s Fellowship. | |
| The Reverend Al Moore Deacon |
| The Reverend Al Moore was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His undergraduate degree in chemisty was granted by the City University of New York and he received his Masters of Divinity from Shaw University. Al is retired from IBM, where he worked prior to his calling to the Church. Al is married to Ernstein Moore and they have four children and four grandchildren. Reverend Moore's areas of special interest at Christ Church include Outreach Ministries and in particular, St. Saviour's Center. He is also a leader at the Men's PrayerBreakfast. | |
