WIHN’s Adopt-an-Apartment Program

Another new outreach project to Christ Church is the Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network Adopt-an-Apartment Program. This program provides a family with temporary housing and stability for 7 to 12 months while the family becomes reestablished with jobs and then permanent housing. Additionally, this particular program assists the families in learning the skills necessary to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.

Our Christ Church congregation will furnish the three bedroom apartment with accessories for the bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining area and bathrooms. The actual furniture for the apartment will be donated by a local hotel. Look for more information on how to donate sheets, towels, pots and pans, dishes, kitchen accessories, and more.
