Outreach Ministry Duties

In conjunction with its outreach programs, Christ Church Outreach Ministry (CCOM) has several other important duties:
Grant review
CCOM researches all grant proposals and makes recommendations on the use of Outreach monies in the local community, in the wider church, and in overseas missions.
Volunteer training and support
CCOM initiates volunteer opportunities and provides leadership, organization, and training for hands-on volunteer work.
Outreach education
CCOM speaks to the congregation on the wider issues of justice, peace, reconciliation, stewardship of the environment, and opportunity for all. It works to educate and assist the members of the congregation in carrying out their vocation and ministry in the world.
