Baptism
Holy Baptism is administered in the presence of the congregation on specified Sundays throughout the year. In the Episcopal Church there is no specific age at which youshould have your child baptized; however, we have found that three to nine months of age works well.
When you are ready to plan for your child's baptism, please contact Lin Boyle at 834-6259, Ext.24 or lboyle@christ-church-raleigh.org. Lin will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding god-parents, times of services, Saturday preparation, etc.
Note: It is wise to call well in advance, since it can sometimes take as long as three months to get on the calendar.
Confirmation
At Christ Church, youth are typically confirmed in the spring of their 8th-grade year. Adult confirmation classes are held twice annually.

Weddings
Persons being married in Christ church must have been a member of Christ Church for a year or be the child of one who has been a member for at least a year. Due notice must be given to the clergy, and dates arranged well in advance, to allow sufficient time for premarital preparation.

Funerals
Family members are asked to notify the Church at 834-6259 of a death as soon as possible. A clergy member will contact the family.
